RTD Temperature Sensor Resistance Thermometer with Fixed Process Connection & Lead
The PT100 RTD sensor is suitable for the measurement of liquids and gases across a wide temperature range. All of our temperature sensors are designed and custom-built to your specifications.
The plain stem of the RTD probe is made from 316 stainless steel and the tip and the fitting are TIG welded to give a pressure-tight housing for the sensor and your application.
Many metric and imperial probe diameters are available from 2mm upwards. Threads are generally BSP or NPT but we can supply others to your requirements such as Metric, UNF etc.
We stock a range of cables for use in our sensor manufacturing from low-cost PVC to high-performance PTFE (Teflon) and high-temperature glass fibre insulations.
We can cover almost any requirement whether this is low or high temperature or other environmental considerations such as moisture ingress protection or protection against corrosive substances.
Other optional extras include pointed tip probes for insertion into semi-solids such as food, reduced diameter sensing tips for improved response times and pre-bent probes to fit your application perfectly.
Lead Types:
A – PVC/PVC Screened (-10 to +105°C)
B – Silicone Rubber Unscreened (-60 to +180°C)
C – PTFE/PTFE Screened (-200 to +250°C)
D – Glass Fibre Stainless Steel Overbraid (0 to 350°C)
(Other cables available upon request).
Additional Information about PRT Sensor
The PPL2-P is ideal for installation directly into your process or with our PPL51-TW pocket. The PPL2 flying lead sensor is also available as a thermocouple PPL2 sensor. We are also able to supply the probe with your choice of thermistor sensor.
