Compact Infrared Thermometer Optris CTfast
The pyrometer optris CTfast LT is perfectly suited for especially quick measurements, with an extremely short response time of 6 ms. The infrared sensor allows a continuous temperature surveillance of fast processes in a spectrum of -50 °C up to 975 °C.
The sensor has the smallest sensing head available in the world at just 14mm diameter x 28mm long and allows the sensor to be installed in the applications where space is at a premium.
The pyrometer is easy to assemble in multiple arrays for line scanning of small and fast objects (hot spot detection) using a RS485 bus communication. It’s also rugged up to 120 °C ambient temperature without cooling.
The separate electronics enclosure provides a full range of configurable outputs as standard including Voltage, mA and Thermocouple. It is also possible to incorporate an interface card which provides simple integration into your existing process control equipment. Options include Ethernet, Profibus, RS485 and USB interface and Compact Connect software.

Optris CSfast Additional Information & Software
Optris CTfast is supplied with an optional USB interface and license-free Compact Connect software to configure the sensor by PC and record temperature measurements instead of traditional analogue or thermocouple outputs. The infrared temperature sensor and pyrometers from Optris can now also be easily operated from a smartphone using the IRmobile App for Android.
Calibration and a range of accessories are also available, such as a cooling jacket or interchangeable lenses. Ethernet, Profibus, RS485 and USB interface is also available to purchase.

Areas of Application
The Optris CTfast temperature sensor is ideally suited for temperature measurements of especially quick processes, e.g. the production of glass syringes during which the adherence process between the needle and the syringe can be optimally monitored and controlled.
