Wireless Temperature Sensor for Automating the Monitoring of Food Cooling
The NSnappy Cool serves as a cooling transmitter engineered for precise and automated measurement and monitoring of cooling duration. It is installed on the GN container of the blast chiller, and its probe is inserted into the food being cooled.
Activated by movement and temperature, the NSnappy Cool automatically measures the cooling process. The temperature profile and cooling duration are then automatically stored in the NSnappy services via a LoRaWAN radio connection. In the NSnappy service, additional details about the cooled food items and a batch code can be added.
Under normal use, the NSnappy Cool operates for over a year on its battery and is covered by the NSure continuous warranty for IoT measuring devices, which includes calibration.
Key benefits include:
- Automates the monitoring of food cooling
- Does not require fixed installation inside the blast chiller
- Extremely quick and easy to use
- Trends and reports of the cooling events are available via the NSnappy service
- Battery replaceable by the user
- Ideal for commercial kitchens, industry and food safety
